The Cabin at Forest Glen is a perfect setting for those interested
in life of days gone by. Situated on 227 acres of private land surrounded
by forever wild State property, the rustic cabin is nearly three miles
back in the peace of the Adirondack woods. Customize your experience
as you see fit. It can be as rough or as comfortable as you would
like. The cabin has generator electricity and a flush toilet or candles,
lamps and an outhouse. Enjoy our television and VCR or the scenic
views of the ancient mountains. Adventurers can stay at the cabin
or at various campsites on private Forest Glen property or the surrounding
State Forest preserve. From the cabin there are many trails for hiking,
ponds and streams for fishing and exploring. Experience the beauty
of nature and all it has to offer. The plants and animals are as they
were 100 years ago. It’s up to you! Create your own adventure
or ask us to create one for you according to your interests and abilities.We
supply all the necessary food and gear for your experience —
all you need is clothing and a sleeping bag. |

Water travel was crucial for the early pioneers of the Adirondacks.
Indians, trappers, settler’s and guides used canoes and guide
boats to hunt, fish, explore and travel through the maze of lakes,
rivers and streams that make up the waterways of the Adirondack Park.
Come explore the many canoe routes that exist as they were over 100
years ago.We can put together a trip that will fit your needs and
your ability.We provide all camping gear, meals and canoes for the
excursions. Bring only your clothes and sleeping bag and a the desire
to experience the peace and serenity canoeing has to offer. |

Don’t let the long winter months in the Adirondacks keep you
locked inside. Hiking trails and destinations offer a different type
of beauty during the snowy winters and snoeshoeing is a great way
to experience it. Snowshoes are available upon request. Day trips
